Dr. Brian Dahl joined The Bone & Joint Center in 2015. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with additional fellowship training in adult reconstruction
Dr. Dahl specializes in the treatment of common and complex problems of the hip and knee including joint pain, arthritis, primary and revision total joint replacement, partial knee replacement, patellofemoral replacement, and lower extremity trauma.
Dr. Dahl is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), and the Wilderness Medical Society (WMS).

EDUCATION & TRAINING:
A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, Dr. Dahl received his bachelor of arts from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He then attended medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he received his doctor of medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Dahl completed an internship in general surgery at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, followed by his orthopaedic surgery residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Dahl then pursued a fellowship in adult reconstruction with renowned surgeon and innovator Dr. Aaron A. Hofmann in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Dahl has a special interest in the treatment of injuries and illnesses in remote or austere environments. Through lectures, hands-on training, volunteer work, and publications he became a fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM) in 2013.
